How cool is this? Get your baby's 1st Birthday portrait done and then at the end... have cake and eat it too!

I offer sessions in your choice of locations, in-studio on seamless paper, at your home, or outdoors at the location of your choice (travel fee may apply) .

In-studio basic theme sessions are done on plain colored paper with accents (you choose the color). This basic theme showcases the birthday baby as the main focus.

You also have the option to have a custom set designed for you. You choose your custom theme, and we will bring your vision to life. Of course, custom sets add more materials and preparation time, so there is a fee for this upgrade.

TIME: I schedule 30 minutes, but sometimes I go longer just to be sure I get great photos - it all depends on your child.

Preparing for the Session

Your session includes a consultation (via phone) with me prior to your session where I can answer any questions you have concerning outfits, locations, packages, backdrop etc. If you haven't already, you must book a phone consultation by using this link.

Due to allergies, you must provide the cake.

Other things to remember:

If you choose to use balloons, please keep in mind that large balloons take the eye away from your child in your final image. Try and keep the balloons smaller. Also, please refer to the information below regarding my latex allergy. Balloons are fine to bring, as long as you follow my guidelines.

We offer two levels of First Birthday/Cake Smash sessions. Depending on which session you choose, you will receive the following. Please note that you will choose the option of adding a custom theme during this booking.

Basic Theme ($195)

Seamless background, tissue paper balls, one other element such as a happy birthday banner.

Custom Theme or on-location shoot ($300)

Custom background and decorations.

These custom themes incur an additional cost because they require more planning and prep. Please allow us at least three weeks' notice when booking a custom session so we can make sure it's perfect!

LATEX ALLERGY ALERT!
Due to my own severe latex allergy, I ask that you bring any balloons you want to the session. You will need to have the balloons blown up before you enter my home, as this will limit the amount of dust that becomes airborne. They cannot be blown up in the studio as that will create a serious hazard for me. As long as I don't touch the balloons, I am normally okay! I have worked with balloons before so they CAN be used, I just can't have them blown up near me.

CORDELE PHOTOGRAPHY USES EMAIL AS OUR PRIMARY COMMUNICATION TOOL TO SEND OUT CONFIRMATION EMAILS, REMINDER MESSAGES, AND REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION WE MAY NEED. PLEASE TAKE CARE TO READ EACH EMAIL FROM CORDELE PHOTOGRAPHY, AS THOSE EMAILS WILL CONTAIN INFORMATION THAT WILL HELP MAKE YOUR SESSION THE BEST IT CAN BE. IN ADDITION, PLEASE SAVE THOSE EMAILS SO THAT YOU CAN REFER BACK TO THEM, AS THEY OFTEN WILL CONTAIN GREAT TIPS AND TRICKS TO ENSURE A GREAT PHOTO SESSION. USE THOSE EMAILS TO HELP YOU PREPARE FOR OUR PHOTO SESSIONS, THIS PREPARATION WILL LEAD TO IMAGES YOU WILL CHERISH FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!
